For my first collaboration with idontloveyouanymore, I composed an original adaptive score and oversaw the technical and creative audio direction for To Miss The Ending, a multi award-winning immersive VR film. The project premiered at the BFI London Film Festival, winning the inaugural Audience Award for Best XR/Immersive Art, was selected for Sundance 2021, and was a finalist for VR Film of the Year at the International VR Awards.
Set in a dystopian future shaped by environmental collapse and social disconnection, the film follows five characters who upload their memories to an AI cloud to survive. I designed an adaptive soundscape that responds dynamically to the immersive VR environment, reinforcing the narrative’s emotional and social stakes while guiding viewers through a compelling exploration of memory, connection, and responsibility.
