This interactive marketing installation promoted Nike React shoes across four major cities in China. Participants were photographed on a green screen and inserted into a game-like virtual world inspired by Super Mario Bros. Running on a treadmill while wearing the shoes, players controlled their character through streets, obstacles, and buildings in real time.
Working with Unit9 and Creative Director Alex Horton, I created an original adaptive music score and sound design system that responded dynamically to player movement within this award-winning installation.
